What we have learned we will be sharing and what we can perform to make your lives easier and safer, we will.

Every environment will have different needs and what can be self-performed should.  For personal safety and the knowledge that you have sanitized what you touch.

For bigger picture items, such as horizontal surfaces, high-touch surfaces (i.e., handles and push bars, light switches, desktops*, chair arms, sinks and faucets), or other areas you might consider higher-risk, make a plan for your team to share the duties, or if they are too much, call Performance to discuss service options.

For medical grade disinfecting, there is a worldwide shortage of supplies, chemicals, and equipment.  The hospitals and urgent care enviroments need these resources, and that should be respected.

There are a variety of sanitizing and disinfecting options for the commercial cleaning environment that are safe for your employees to work in.

Call Performance to discuss your options.

CDC Recommendations

CDC Recommendations
The CDC recommends a two step process to sanitize.  First clean and then disinfect.  This two-step process is done by cleaning crews and disinfecting crews, separately.

This can be accomplished by a variety of methods, where the sanitizing is done in the evening, after the cleaning has been performed.

Both are performed after hours, when your employees have left the building.  The workspace is clean and has been properly sanitized using EPA-approved cleaning chemicals and disinfectant solutions.

COVID-19 Safety

As your staff begins to return to work, it is important to have a plan.  The CDC and EPA recommend that you follow some simple recommendations that are very valuable.

There is a PDF file from the CDC that you can download, re-distribute.  Share it with co-workers, friends, family or anyone who might benefit.

The "ReOpening America Cleaning Disinfection Decision Tool" has been provided by the Center for Disease Control as a general outline for safely planning the return to work.

Good Practices for Sanitizing

Good Practices for Sanitizing
The focus of cleaning has shifted dramatically toward sanitizing and disinfecting, and the future of cleaning is going to involve that your staff get involved to share in the sanitizing effort.

It is good practice for the user to take responsibility for daily sanitizing of their phone, keyboard, seat arms, and the top of their desk.

For the CDC recommendations on re-entry planning see "Cleaning and Disinfecting Your Facility" to learn more on the topic along with a wide range of additional resources.
